L'Esperienza Custom of Metagate: Fashion, Technology and Mixed Reality
In collaboration with Ecoolska and Nikki Cikaluk, Metagate has created a virtual fashion show in Mixed Reality that has captured the attention of the public. Two digital models, wearing clothes from the new collection of Ecoolska, they paraded through enchanting virtual arches, all immersed in an environment enriched by an enveloping green filter. The result was a sensory spectacle that demonstrated how fashion and technology can coexist in a virtual environment, surpassing the limits of the physical runway.
Lynk & CoA Vehicle in Mixed Reality
But innovation did not stop here. Part of the experience featured Lynk & Co Milan, with the arrival of a digital car in MR that stopped in the middle of the scene. The vehicle was not only visible in Mixed Reality, but where it stopped, green vines would emerge from the ground, climbing up the surrounding walls, adding a touch of nature to the digital environment. Thanks to the hand-tracking With the Meta Quest 3, users could interact with the machine intuitively, changing its color with a simple virtual button placed on their hand.
A Unique Multiplayer Experience
One of the strengths of the experience created by Metagate was the method multiplayer in MR, which allowed users to interact with each other and exchange digital items in real time. This feature opened up new creative possibilities, such as the ability to shoot third-person videos where people could be seen moving digital objects in the real world.

On September 19, the Digital Couture Summit is back to the Milan Fashion Week (MFW) for its spring-summer 2025 edition, continuing to explore the fascinating fusion between high fashion and cutting-edge technologies. Following the success of the previous edition, which saw the participation of over 300 exclusive guests, this invitation-only event has established itself as a crossroads of luxury, innovation, and digital transformation. Held in the heart of Milan at Lynk & Co in Piazza San Babila in Milan, the Summit welcomed representatives from renowned fashion houses such as Lacoste and the Lanvin Group, next to tech giants like Google and Polygon.
The event focused on how technology is redefining the luxury sector, with particular attention to immersive experiences, digital identity, and changes in consumer behavior. The evening was inaugurated by an interesting fireside chat between Marta Pettenuzzo, Head of Creative Strategy at Condé Nast Italy, and Nikki Cikaluk, co-organizer of the event.
