Metagate is a fast-growing Italian startup developing Mixed Reality experiences on Meta Quest 3. We also integrate AI, blockchain, and IoT into immersive projects for events, culture, edutainment, and industry. We believe that AI is a powerful tool that must responsibly accompany us in every task. Our team consists of young, proactive people who are always ready to learn and explore new solutions. We are looking for a hybrid technical profile, passionate about emerging technology, who can contribute both to Unity XR development and to the technical management of our web and IT infrastructure.
🔧 What you will do
Development and optimization of XR/MR experiences on Unity (Meta Quest)
Integration with REST APIs, AI, sensor data (Arduino), NFT/Web3, and multiplayer (photon)
Collaboration with our creative team for custom projects and different metaverses
Maintenance and support of our Flutter web app
Internal IT technical support: management of GitHub repositories, build, deploy, network support, and basic security
🧠 Who we are looking for
Experience with Unity 3D, C#, XR Interaction Toolkit and/or MRTK
Good knowledge of Flutter/Dart or interest in learning quickly
Knowledge of Supabase
Basic knowledge of networking, Firebase/Supabase, REST API, Git
Passion for immersive technologies and a desire to contribute to innovative use-cases in AI, IoT, Web3, AR/VR
Initiative and desire to work in a small but ambitious team
