On May 13 and 14, 2025, Metagate participated as a guest at the AI Week in Milan, the leading European fair dedicated to artificial intelligence, bringing its innovative vision to the heart of the tech debate. We were happy to support the booth of Associazione Cometa, our partner in several successful initiatives, by promoting their artists. Together, we presented our Mixed Reality experiences to the public.
Immersive experiences and no-code technologies
The true highlight was the Metagate Gallery, an immersive collection of our main use cases on Meta Quest 3, now a permanent showcase of our work across AI, Web3, IoT, and Mixed Reality. Alongside it, we launched OpenGate XR, the new webapp designed for events, museums, and companies: a no-code platform for creating interactive environments and customized AI avatars by simply uploading content from your smartphone or PC.
An innovation that makes Mixed Reality accessible, scalable, and sustainable, showing how advanced tools can become available to everyone.
A success beyond expectations
We didn’t expect such a strong response. Many people tried our experiences and were fascinated by them. Our booth was one of the few – if not the only one – to feature active MR headsets, a sign of a real technological advantage in the integration of AI and Mixed Reality.
From engaging with the public, we identified the most requested areas: team building, training, industry, and data visualization are currently the sectors where MR can generate the most impact. This feedback confirms Metagate’s strategic direction.
New connections and new perspectives
During the event, we also had the pleasure of meeting the User Advocate, a lawyer and science communicator specialized in tech legislation and emerging technology law. A stimulating exchange that opens up new perspectives on the relationship between innovation, ethics, and legal norms.
Our participation in AI Week 2025 was not just a showcase, but a confirmation: Metagate is ready to lead the integration between AI and Mixed Reality, offering concrete, engaging, and easily adoptable solutions. We look to the future with confidence, continuing to experiment, build, and connect technologies and people.
