Sanrandmo, February 12, 2025 - Metagate's participation in the events has concluded with great enthusiasm Sanremo House, where from February 10 to 12, 2025, we brought innovation and technology to the Italian Song Festival.
An event full of innovation
During these intense days, we had the opportunity to present our mission and our most advanced projects, showing how Metagate can accompany companies and institutions towards the adoption of emerging technologies. The audience was able to experience firsthand the potential of the Mixed Reality, directly experiencing the immersive solutions that are revolutionizing the world of entertainment.
The contest with the Polytechnic University of Milan: a triumph of talent
The highlight of our activities was the award ceremony for the projects participating in the contest dedicated to the students of the course. “Strumenti e Metodologie di Codifica Avanzati” of Polytechnic University of Milan, focused on the theme: "Technology at the service of musical creativity".

MusicMind: the talents behind the project
The team MusicMind – composed of Marco Porcella (marco.porcella@mail.polimi.it), Filippo Longhi (filippo1.longhi@mail.polimi.it), Andrea Crisafulli (andrea.crisafulli@mail.polimi.it) and Giacomo De Toni (giacomo1.detoni@mail.polimi.it) – not only did he rank third in the overall ranking, but has also won the Mixed Reality Award by Metagate.
MusicMind is a web application that revolutionizes music learning, turning it into a fun and interactive experience:
- Keyboard: Recognition of chords and cadences.
- Drum Machine: Recognition of grooves and fills.
- Multiplayer Mode: Real-time competitions with other players.
- Practice ModeGuided exercises with visual and audio feedback.
Metagate has taken the concept of MusicMind and further developed it into mixed realityIn the XR version, the user must guess which instruments are playing in various musical pieces, immersing themselves in an environment where the notes "come to life" and learning merges with play.
The Bored Ape #911 avatar: a special guest
One of the most appreciated attractions has been the Bored Ape #911, brought to life thanks to speech-to-speech technology and enriched with specific knowledge about the Sanremo Festival. Guests were able to converse with this avatar with an ironic attitude, which provided information on Sanremo, Metagate, the world of Bored Apes and our partners, always maintaining a provocative and fun tone.
The Bored Ape #911, right after the event, "departed" virtually towards theNFT Paris festival on web3, where he will visit "cousins" and similar projects at the house of The Sandbox: Artverse, creating an ideal bridge between the Italian musical event and the international landscape of digital art.
Art and technology on stage
To accompany us on this adventure, there was also Vincenzo Rana of Knobs, whom we thank for the invitation and support, as well as the artists of Co-Meta. Among these, the master Giampaolo Motta, which brought its unmistakable talent, blending art and technology in truly evocative performances.
NFT and Mixed Reality: a collectible experience
Inside the interactive space of Mixed Reality signed by Metagate, visitors had the opportunity to redeem a commemorative POAP NFT of the event, a true digital souvenir as a testament to their participation in Casa Sanremo 2025.
Not only that: thanks to the collaboration with Knobs, it was possible load and interact with a 3D NFT depicting a musical note, redeemable directly from the smartphoneThis experience allowed for the exploration of the potential of NFT technology in an immersive environment, offering attendees a completely innovative way to experience the union of art, music, and the digital world.

The day of February 12 saw Metagate to take on the role of official sponsor of the event at Casa Sanremo. For the occasion, she took to the stage Giada Vigiano, on behalf of the team, to tell everyone present about Metagate's commitment to the development of immersive experiences in Mixed Reality.
This special evening was also the opportunity to get to know the friends of Bazar up close, main sponsor of the event, represented by Dalila Anna Stabile, and to meet familiar faces such as Mattia Faraoni, kickboxing champion, and Dario Ferracci (also known as @moonryde_fnatic). A moment of sharing and networking, where technology and sport came together to celebrate the innovation and energy that have always characterized the Sanremo Festival.

Among the proposed experiences, guests will be able to interact with an advanced version of the Bored Ape #911, trained with specific knowledge about the Sanremo Festival. Thanks to speech-to-speech technology, this avatar will provide an immersive and fun interaction, bringing artificial intelligence to the service of creativity.
