The goal was simple: actively engage people, transforming an informative moment into a memorable experience.

From memory to creation: users as protagonists
Within the experience, users could explore photos from the previous year's marathon and relive moments from the event. The real added value, however, was the possibility to become an active part: thanks to hand tracking on Meta Quest 3, each participant could draw or leave their signature in space simply using their hand. A simple yet powerful gesture that turned every interaction into a personal and unique contribution.

Multiplayer and real-time sharing
The application was developed in multiplayer mode, allowing multiple users to interact simultaneously. The writings and drawings created remained visible to other participants, creating a collaborative and dynamic environment. This approach made the experience not only individual but collective, amplifying the sense of community.

Phygital photos: between real and digital
One of the most appreciated moments was the final one: users could have a photo taken that combined real and digital elements. The images included both people with and without headsets, along with virtual assets, creating fun, personalized, and easily shareable content. All photos were then saved in a shared folder with ADMO, generating value even after the event.

Mixed Reality as a tool for impact
This activation demonstrates how Mixed Reality on Meta Quest 3 can become a concrete tool for events and social initiatives. Not just entertainment, but real engagement, active participation, and connection between people.
Metagate continues to explore new ways to integrate technology, creativity, and social impact, making every experience accessible, engaging, and meaningful, experimenting together with valuable organizations.
